Lawrence F. Hodge is the president of L.F. Hodge & Associates, Inc. Prior to forming LFH, he was a partner in the San Diego office of the national CPA firm, McGladrey & Pullen, LLP.
Larry has spent most of his career in San Diego and is active in a variety of community activities. He earned a BS Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University. With over 30 years experience in public accounting, Larry has consulted and advised clients in the areas of income tax planning and compliance. He has also assisted clients in accounting and business/financial planning, with particular attention to new business formation and helping their businesses grow and stay competitive.
Larry has extensive knowledge in computer software, hardware and information systems for small businesses. He believes that timely information is essential for a company to make quick decisions and that current computer technology allows businesses to have access to such information, regardless of their size.
He has also served clients in the area of trusts and estates, and believes that due to constant changes in our lives that wills and trusts need to be kept current, which requires periodic reviews of documents.
His extensive experience and knowledge of income tax laws, computer systems and business matters, allows him to provide clients with innovative ideas and sound advice. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
